I've been having the same exact problem. I don't understand why it hasn't been 
fixed yet. It said it was in the docs, but it does not appear to be so.

  HI all

  I'm still experiencing the winning bug. My  oponent's horse is on position 
95. I win because I moved exactly till I'm on space 100. I was on 96 and I 
moved 4 spaces so I'm on space 100. the  commentator announces my name as the 
winner and I hear the applause but jaws   doesn't  say: would you like to play 
again? I  waited a while and then pressed  the up and down arrows, but nothing 
happens.  Then I pressed  spacebar. My horse gallops  after which the 
commentator announces my oponent's name, but then nothing happens, he doesn't 
move his horse and no key in the game works. P for pause doesn't work, spacebar 
doesn't work, not even the keys for the game sounds or keystrokes works. The 
only key  that worked at that stage was escape.

  If I press escape jaws asks me: are you sure you want to exit?

  If I choose no I'm  still stuck with no keys other than escape working. If I 
choose  yes, jaws asks me: would you like to play again and if I choose yes 
then I'm presented with the horse menu and the game starts as usual, if I say  
no the game exits as usual.
