[lighttechinteractive] Re: bopit

that's true, but you could probably do without the musicl. I certainly would if it meant I could play on my phone.

Hello all,
The keys, as Nicol mentioned them earlier are set up to simulate a real bop it toy. I don't think so there is a good position, as depending on the game's status you will have to move your hands across the keyboard, which, on higher difficulty levels can be quite challenging. Regarding mobile phone support, as far as i know, not all celular phones support playing more than one audio file simultaneously, which means games running on mobile phones would have a disadvantage and this could be the lack of music, which is an inportant aspect of the game. Regarding the programming part, i know that Sun Microsystem's java applications have a mobile phone extension, but i am not sure about porting it to that language, as i don't know what plays the sounds, etc. This could be a problem, but having great resources, wikis, etc, it can be solved easily. The keys could be simulated on a mobile phone as well, for example pull it being the star key, flip it the number one, etc. The main question is the fact of playing more than one sound file at once.

Oh how cool would a mobile phone version be? I have trouble getting to the f 5 key too. Still trying to work out a good position to put my fingers in.

So far I like the bopit game.
Its nice that this game, unlike other titles, can be finished.
My highest score thus far is 64 but the manual says one can finish the
game
I like the sound effects, each sound effect sounds like you are pushing,
pulling, flipping, bopping, twisting or pushing something.
This game is so far addicting.
The f5 key is a bit far to stretch to press it, but it's a good
challenge, that's how the buttons on the bopit toy is positioned so its
cool that you made it as original as possible. What about making a
version of this game for mobile phones?
It would be excellent if I can play bopit on my phone while traveling
for example.
