No no, the buzzing is to let you know that there are chests. it's a metal
detector, as it says in the read me manual, provided with the game.
Ok, you're in a gulf, you start off slap in the middle. you press enter to
start your boat, and r to turn on the buzzing metal detector. There's a high
cliff to the left hand side of the gulf, which is easy to hear, cos the waves
crash against it. the one on the right is lower, and less easy to hear, or at
least I find it so, but that may just be my weird sound card. You use your
left and right arrow keys to move from side to side in the gulf, be methodical
about it, when you hear the buzz, it means you're centred over a chest. Use
your down arrow to lower the hook, you'll hear it snag the chest, then use your
up arrow to lift it until you hear it empty on the deck. I hope this helps.

Subject: [lighttechinteractive] Treasure mania?
Hi all, I can't understand how to play this game, I'm assuming that if I go
to far either to the right or left, the buzzing is an alarm letting me know
that I am getting to close to the cliffs? the thing I can't get is how I know
when there are chests? that's the only thing I don't get.
thanks.
