hello,
thank you very much for your comments! we really apreciate it!
yes, as a matter of fact we did come up with a flying battle simulation
game(not airplains though). you were in command of an army chopper trying to
defend your self and complete the various missions radioed to you...
how ever, we stopped developing that game due to the level of involvment it
takes in order to make it propperly(and so it will not be another "shoot them
all" game). how ever it doesn't say we won't in the future continue where we
left off and develop that game.
btw I do like your idea of a smaller game based on simulating a flight senario,
we may do something of the sorte after completing our current game(which you
guys don't yet know about).
thanks very much again.
take care,
Yakir Arbib

Hi Rob. I wanted to write you publically and thank you for these fantastic
games. I am an avid gamer, and I have many games, both freeware, and
commercially available, and I have to say that your games are just as fun to
play and cool as the commercially available games, even better in some cases.
Lite cars and lite locator are my absolute favorite games of yours to play. I
play them several times a week, and post sometimes to the score boards. BTW do
you sometimes reset the score board to get rid of old scores?
I've had a dream for years now of wanting an airplane game for the blind.
Either a fightter game, or just simply trying to fly a plane load of passengers
safely to a destination. I think if anybody could do it, you guys could. I
know that Draconis has a topgun table, I've never played it, but that's the
only one I know of. If GMA games put something out, their's no doubt in my
mind that it would be very good, but a lot of us wouldn't ever be able to play
it, much less understand the mechanics of flying, so that we could play it.
What I have always dreammed of is a game where you could fly solely based on
ear and hand cordination, much like lite cars. You could have other planes fly
at you, and you have to avoid them, or maybe something similar to top speed2,
or something like that, and I think you guys could do it. I wonder is this
something that you've looked into, or would be willing to investigate? All the
best, and keep up with the great work, and thanks for all you have done for us.

Hello all lighttechers,
First of all, i'd like to welcome our newest subscribed members on the list!
And now towards the dark, the horse racing game and the chambers of bugs.
When you enter something to the config manager, and press the save button,
the application will tell you that the information has been saved, and then
it'll exit. After that, when you go back, your saved data won't be visible in
the appropriate edit boxes, but that doesn't mean your data was not saved.
About the game is locked up, i have no idea why, as i didn't manage to
reproduce it. Try choosing another speech method, maybe the problem is with the
window eyes support.
Let me know what is the result, maybe we have another strange bug with thrg.
Best regards,
Rob

Hi Nicol,
I have uninstalled it, and reinstalled, and I have even updated my version of
directX, from version 8 to 9, and still no joy. Also after I have entered my
info in to the edit boxes, and selected window-eyes and press enter on the save
button, despite being told that the info has been saved, it hasn't. Because if
I go back in to configuration the edit boxes are empty.
All the best
Petrina,

Well, this is usually why window eyes says that a program wants attention.
Its window eyes' way of telling you that a program needs to be switched to in
order to complete a task. Programs that flashes on the screen tell the user
that he needs to switch to a program, the program is waiting for the user to
complete the task. But in your case it might be a bug that causes the program
to flash and then abort, asking you if you want to send an error report.
A program ight flash for other reasons, maybe it might flash to indicate that
its not responding but window eyes always sees the flashing as a request to
switch to that program in order to complete a task. Window eyes is not smart
enough to detect why a program is flashing.
Your best bet is to uninstall and re install.
It never happened to me.

Hi Nicol,
How can I switch to the horse racing game, when I am already focused on it.
All the best

Appologies if what I'm going to say now has already been said.
I also used window eyes. If window eyes says a program wants attention like
horse racing game wants attention, it means the program is flashing on the
screen.
Its window eyes's way of telling you: this program needs to be switched to.

Hi Rob,
I can not tell you any more, than when I press enter on the icon on my
desktop, nothing happens. And when I launch window-eyes, I am told the hoarse
game wants attention, and the only way to get out of the game, is to press alt
f4. And there is only two edit boxes one for my first name, and one for my last
name, no edit box for my email address.
All the best

Hello Petrina,
Can you explain your situation in more detail please?
For example, i do not understand "the hoarse game wants attention" sentence.
Basically, you need to enter your name, your e-mail which is optional, and you
need to select a speech method. After saving your data, you can start the game.
Usually, quiting from a game with alt+f4 is not a good idea, it can cause
unpredictable results. Choose it only if you have no other way to exit.

Hi all,
I have installed the horse racing game, and filled in the edit boxes with my
first name and last name, and selected window-eyes as my screen reader. But
when I press enter on the icon on my desktop, nothing happens. Then after a
while I am told that the hoarse game wants attention. So I press alt f4 to
escape out of the game, and then I am told end game this game is not
responding. When this happens if I go back and look at the edit boxes, where
I filled in my name they are empty. I have also installed the Treasure Mania
1 game, and that is working fine. So I would be grateful for any help you
can give me. My operating system is windows xp.
All the best
