I using the LiblouisUTDML trunk version my system, and using with
Liblouis 3.0 release (not yet doed the upgrade with Liblouis 3.1 release).
I see some interesting issues:
1. The --log-file parameter producing a segmentation fault with my
Ubuntu 16.04 system.
Reproducation steps:
Simple type file2brl -l, or file2brl --log-file command.
2. The -r option me not doing the destination braille document.
Testcase:
A. Type file2brl -f preferences.cfg a.txt a.brf command.
This step happening the expected result when you using the "formatFor
textDevice" output format, the a.brf file containing braille content.
B. Now we trying reformat the brf document:
file2brl -r -f preferences.cfg a.brf b.brf
This situation my hard disk file2brl creating the b.brf file, but the
size of this file is 0 byte.
Following temp files created with file2brl:
- file2brl.temp: I think this document containing a braille document,
with I think equals the original document, but I am not full sure this.
- file2brl2.temp: this file is an empty file.
- lbx_body.temp: this is the back translated html document from a.brf file.
I attaching a preferences.cfg file, the original testing document and
the created .brf braille document.
3. I tryed following formatFor preferences, I founded this other formats
with readconfig.c file (the documentation not containing this output
formats):
formatFor volumes
formatFor brf
formatFor volumesBRF
This formats me file2brl creating empty braille destination file, after
ueb conversion.
This formats not yet full implemented?
testcase after you changing the formatFor preference:
file2brl -f preferences.cfg a.txt a.brf
