It sounds like you are going to have a thoroughly good Friday evening. Enjoy.
Thanks for the warning. I have not yet heard from him, but I can't help him
anyway. He seems to be strange character with a very short fuse. We had a
run-in once before.
I haven't told you yet. I am mightily pissed off. On Wednesday our garden
services broke the big glass pane of the sliding door of my patio. They fixed
it the same afternoon, but I have to cough up the R2000 for their negligence
and there is no way out, because their liability for something like this is
excluded in the terms and conditions. As if I just have R2000 that I can throw
around for absolutely no value in return! I might have told you that I have
only one superstition. I believe that the first two weeks of a new year are a
kind of overture of how the year will turn out. If things break during that
time, I must expect that they will keep on breaking for the rest of the year.
This has been true every time without exception. During that time I even told a
few people that things are going to break unabated this year and it is
happening like that.
We had some nice finger snacks for supper. We usually do on a Friday evening.
It has been quite a long tradition. Martie made one of my absolute favourites
today: cherries wrapped in bacon and fried and stuck on toothpicks. That is
just so good.
Enjoy the braai and the weekend. I am RELAXING.
Regards
Christo

Hi Arend

Yesterday I wrote that I would try to compile the latest master of
Liblouisutdml for Windows, but after looking at the sources in the
master I think it is better to wait for a release or pre-release, so the
normal compilation method can be tested. It is already complicated
enough and compiling from the master requires extra effort.
In addition I am missing any appearance of the current version number. I
understand that the version number is added in the release, but is not
available in the master, at least I could not find it.
