Yep, it was a div-zero error; the vector normalizer had been updated and
that bug came back. It's been fixed here, so it's confirmed for the next
build release. I think renderers (scanline, raytracer) would also crash
if the lightsource was right on the heightfield surface also, and that's
been fixed too.

Got a V C++ error "contact the application team," with program crash. Didn' offer any other info. At the time I had just moved the light to 0 elevation as an experiment; the scene pane was rendered at "best" resolution, 512 x 512. Memory set to "amd"; Leveller was the only program running. not sure if this is significant, but thought I would pass it on.
