I should just knuckle down and do an RGB/16 exporter I guess ...
I'm also reading up on Maya node / importers; I am half tempted to write
a new Maya node that would link to an external DEM file. Ideally, it
would preview through a ROAM algorithm. Without giving away any
secrets, is that the most current / up to date game viewing algorithm?
