This is the latest I have on the October Fest.  I guess you have some people to notify.

WATTOBERFEST
If you've been hiding in a cave some place, the dates for the 2nd Annual WATTOBERFEST are Friday the 23rd and Saturday the 24th.  This event is open to any RC plane or Heli as well as Control Line airplane that is e-powered.  The club will cook lunch on both days and dinner on Saturday.   The field will be closed on Friday and Saturday except for  registered WATTOBERFEST flyers.   One new feature this year is the Indoor Fly on Friday evening at Mayflower  High School.  This is a FULL SIZE gym and is  larger than either Park Hills or Lakewood- where we've been doing indoor for the past 2 years.  A copy of the latest flyer is attached as well as a sheet that lists the kind of club support we will need for the event.  Please try to help where you can.  Anyone can make an excuse NOT to do something.
 
This year's raffle drawing will be for a pre-built electric SYLVIE.  This is the newest model in Chris Sweeney's line of products.  It will come with motor, ESC and servos already installed.  There will also be additional consolation items as a part of the raffle.  Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5 (from club officers or at Mark's Hobby Shop).

This is mainly for John Gray, but does anybody know if the Mayflower club is going to have their Wattoberfest Funfly this year?  I REALLY enjoyed last year and was looking forward to gearing up for this year but hadn't heard a thing so was just trying to gather some info.
 
Unfortunately weather, truck trouble and other obstacles messed up my chance to join in with the LAFF's group, so I really need an event! ;-)
 
Any info will be appreciated.
