[LRflex] Re: why leicas are expensive

Hello Subu.

Some of the lenses by Leica are well designed and capable of nice, excellent 
results.

Of course, you cannot expect to put a 100000$$ lens on a 10$ camera.

First reason, the lens are sturdy, heavy, the camera needs to support it.

Then Leica can repair for a long time (well in France, you cannot repair the 
SL/SL2 any more, pity, eh, it's been only 30 years since...)


Try to get your Nikon FE repaired in a (not so) civilized country such as 
France....
