Leica is known for its exceptional support for older equipment, and if Leica
runs out of some parts, DAG and Sherry and I'm sure a few others know how to
either make new parts or salvage 'em from camera cadavers.  One of my
cameras is a Leicaflex Standard that pre-dates the R4s by almost 20 years.
Leica still has lots of parts for it.
