Eric,
   Those are great photos.  I can't remember ever using my own 180
any closer than about 40 feet, but that's just what I use it for. 
Closer subjects get the M cameras.  Really close subjects get the
100mm lens on the bellows.  So I have nothing to compare it to, but
that Bee sure looks great. :-)
   I'm using it on an SL. I think the size is as much a factor as the
mass.  It fills the hands nicely.  M cameras are easier to hold
steady in the leather eveready cases, for the same reason, I think.
