Dave as wonderful as that would be for Doug, the Solms and their marketing 
people aren't bright enough to light two candles, let alone work with such a 
talented photographer as Doug,

WHY?

Regardless of his great natural photographic talent in what he shoots, he 
isn't a mega household name in the photo world. To the crew here we know his 
ability without question. LEICA? Hell they don't really care about the 
photography as they're still hung up on "who big name celebrity" is using a 
Leica regardless of the talent. A shame of course.

Doug would do Leica more good in advertising their DMR product, and in 
particular, he shoots manually focusing. Proving the point most admirably 
that ...." you do not require auto-focus to capture great photographic 
moments!
