Good Mornin' Phillippe!

One thing which seems not to have been made quite clear...

When the counter reaches 36, exposures, the Winder-R will stop. No
possibility of getting the 37th or 38th exposure, as might be possible by hand.

With 24 exposure rolls, the motor stops at the end of the roll, even
if it is 26 or 27 exposures along.

In either case, it stops by triggering the circuit breaker, so the
winder will not run again, until the breaker has been re-set. This is
what Etienne was talking about when he said:

You hit the "MOTOR WINDER R" logo/lever, and the lever allows the
battery holder to push out part way -disconnecting the power. You
then push the end of the battery holder back into the winder, and
this reconnection of power resets the circuit breaker and your good
to go, once again! With a little experience, it can be done in one
second. Simple, neat and easy. But not obvious if you don't have the book!

Of course, if you press the "MOTOR WINDER R" logo/lever a second
time, the battery holder will pop completely out and you can change
the batteries.

Like you, I only wanted it for the leather strap/grip. But I found
my Winder-R to be a great convenience (especially for Solar Eclipse
work) and very reliable.

Enjoy!!
