[LRflex] Re: leicareflex Digest V4 #172

Hello Folks
Well, one person like the monochromes.... Bill, the image size was
nominally 800 x 600, at a resolution of 600 dpi, and minimum compression.
My cousin, who lives in Limnes, sent me an amusing anecdote about a
donkey that died, and ended up with a concrete overcoat. Unfortunately,
I didn't take a shot of the house involved (yes, house!), but that's
another story.

Xavier: Liked the photographs of Versailles; it's one of those places
that I would like to see, but I usually don't go anywhere near Paris. I
like the third photo of the tourists; I was wondering if he had a
chandelier growing out of his head, given where he and his wife were
positioned ;-) . Now that would be a REAL tourist shot!!

I didn't get to Old Buckenham air day - not surprisingly - since it was
raining again yesterday, and I didn't fancy paying about 50 USD for a
wet two hours, soggy me (and wife), camera, shoes, etc. So I went to
the Victoria and Albert Photographic Exhibition at the University of
East Anglia instead.
Regards
Keith Longmore
