[LRFlex] Re: leica R lens on Digital boxes

I'm going to get into the foray.

Even though I use Leica R's for when I want great quality, I remember way 
back in 1988, when my wife and I won a trip to the Olympics in Calgary, 
including 
the opening & one week all expenses paid, complements of 3M. 

I had just bought a new Contax 167mt body to go with my RTS II, 85mm f/1.4, 
35mm f/1.4, 25mm f/2.8 & 180mm f/2.8 lenses, all in anticipation of excellent 
results. I also brought along an R4 w/winder, 35~70 f/3.5 & my trusty 75~200 
f/4.5. As an afterthought, I also brought my old Nikkormat FT3, 85mm f/1.4 
Nikkor, 35mm f/1.4 & 180mmf/2.8 ED Nikkor lenses, just in case all else died 
from 
battery failure. WELL...........

Much as I hate to say it, my trusty Nikkormat saved the day for the cold, 
outdoor shots.

Of course, you'll note that the choice of lenses is not "consumerish".
