Dear members,
I bought myself a christmas gift in November already;-) It`s a
Leicaflex SL. The camera is in very good condition, apart from the
strap lugs - they are almost worn out. Doug told me they can be
replaced, but I don`t want to part with the camera after I just got
it. So I was thinking of ever-ready case for the SL. Do they come with
strap lugs? Anyone can tell me? Have been searching the internet, but
the photos don`t show me clearly.
Thanks,
Miha
Miha,
The cases come with a strap of their own, permanently attached by
chromed rectangular lugs. The camera's lugs are not used, so an
ever-ready case would solve your problem.
Very often the straps have worn out, and this is the reason the
case is available. Many places that work with leather for bags
or saddles can make a new one. One brass rivet holds it
at either end.
Good luck with your SL, I love mine.
