Very moving Steve. Beautifully caught.

I express my thanks to you Peter...

I appreciate your comments, as this case with its wonderful outcome has moved many.

I posted it hoping that these images might reach and move people...

I wanted to document with honesty and respect, care of a child in the hospital...

There has been such a wide range of reactions, reaching, moving, and even shaking up people...

all not entirely anticipated, but thought provoking to me and profoundly moving...

thanks to all for looking and your thoughts...

Steve

Leica M7 Noctilux 50mm at f1...on C41 asa400 film.

the image, agony and the ecstasy...

illness, care, a chance for recovery...
some may find it difficult, in some ways yes it is....

a little boy from a very remote and physically, a very primitive
existence...
would have died without first world medical support...
now is fine and at home...

I will show an image soon, right before he went home...

I plan to travel north, to take photos of him at his home...

thanks, Steve
