[LRflex] Re: Yesteryear's Rolleiflex 3003 experiences

Eric,
Some very nice shots there, if I were to select my favourites then: the=20
"Gondola Reflections" (superb!!) , and I rather like the "Barber of=20
Olinda" .

I used to own a (perfectly functioning!) SL2000F which ceased to=20
function correctly after a nasty encounter with a concrete pavement -=20
for some unknown reason every shot had a vertical strip of light from=20
top to bottom.
After many (almost 25) Rollei-less years, I found a reasonably priced=20
3003 Edition de luxe that I'm trying to find time for at present (which=20
is very hard).
I always did like the QBM lenses (Zeiss and Rolleinar) and very much=20
like the 4/21 badged by Voigtl=E4nder that must be one of the most compac=
t=20
21s there is. This week I'll be picking up an old version Zeiss 1.4/85=20
in QBM mount that has just been to the local camera clinic, so the=20
weather can now be as dull as it wants :-)
Such a pity that the design of the 3003 never really gained the respect=20
it deserves. That would really have been the ideal platform for a=20
digital back.
Cheers from Hannover and thanks for posting those images
Douglas

BTW, There's a nice page on the camera at Cameraquest for people who are =

not familiar with the system
