[LRFlex] Was: R8 problem - now Camera history.


Wow! I just did a quick search on the "Firstflex", mentioned in my last post to Art.

The Tepper boys, (http://www.jay-tepper.com/assort.html), have this to say about one they have for sale.

Firstflex 35 w/45mm f2.8 Auto Tokinon- Very rare Japanese 35mm SLR in which the mirror acts as the shutter. Made for export only. Takes Exakta and Topcon lenses. Slight dent on filter ring of lens and small indentation in center of baseplate. Spots in glass. All else EXC/EXC+. Comes with impossible to find accessory shoe. (Sugiyama/Naoi #3246) [8120]

That's a very impressive price for a camera that I could never sell in the mid 60's for CAD $49!

More so, considering my local used shop is today offering a much nicer Petri 7S for just CAD$79 (~US$65)!
