Y'all -
Did some less-than-casual lens tests today in order to make some
decisions about what to bring on an out-of-town trip. Shot a few
lenses (mostly Leica) at 2.8 & 5.6. Aperture priority, "pattern"
metering, self timer, tripod, ISO 100, Fotodiox adapter..
Houston, we have a problem...
All the 2.8 shots show significantly less exposure than the 5.6 shots.
Longer lenses show more difference. Brand of lens makes no difference.
Geeezz...
Anybody got any ideas? Mirror beam-splitting effect??
