All:
Early this year, I sold several of my shots to an ornithologist, who
has spent a lifetime specializing in Anhingas

and Red Necked Grebes.
However, in all his studies, he'd never seen an albinistic (let alone
a full albino) Grebe, so he simply "had to have" my shots of one with
it's mate and offspring.

When he found out that I had a shot of one of the offspring as a
yearling, he wanted that one, too! (This is the kind of customer a
fellow can like!)
I now have a shot of the offspring, as a full adult. I was hoping,
that as a two year old, he'd have found a mate and I might be able to
get photos of the third generation. However, this appears not to
have happened. If I am wrong, I'll keep you posted.
The sad news, is that the parents did not return to Tunkwa Lake this
year.... not a good sign.
This is not a shot I would offer for sale... not good enough. But I
find the history of the bird interesting and thought you might too.

Oh... the ornithologist? He's away until after the July 4th
holiday... but I do expect to hear from him! ;-)
Comments appreciated, as always. Thanks for looking.
Cheers!
