Swan shots like that are relatively easy. Just selectively meter for a slightly off-white tone on a bright day and you pretty much have it. The brightest white will almost burn out and anything below 18~30% grey is almost assured of being black. NOW, with that said, I've always found that "Blind Luck" works best for me! Art Tafil
