[LRFlex] Re: Surprising lens - Tele-Lumax 105/2,4

Thanks for the info Andy, I checked out the Corfield pages but I can't find a reference to any of the lenses
having been made in Japan. It is indeed a strange coincidence that the lens I found should have an Exakta mount on
the T2 screw as this was a mount offered by both Enna and Corfield, could it be that Vines were operating some kind
of extended service for Corfield cameras after production ceased?
cheers
Douglas

I've no idea who made it but it's called a Tele-Lumax 105/2,4 and has the name Vines (a UK photo store) on the filter ring. I picked it up last
year at a car-boot sale in Horley (near Gatwick Airport) for 60 pence (along with a Topcon body which was seized up and a couple of other lenses).
It's been lying around for over a year now and I only discovered a few days ago that it's a T2 mount, I had actually considered dumping it not so long ago.
It has the typical look of a 1950-1960 lens - aluminium barrel and black paint.

Can anyone tell me anything more about the lens, it was bought with an Exakta/Topcon mount and although I know of Lumax lenses for Corfield
Periflexes there is no reference I can find to either this focal length or to a Lumax made in Japan.

cheers Douglas
