Thanks, Steve.
so far only the first version summicron 50mm is a problem ?
So far, it's the only known problem... though it appears that the
50mm Summilux and 35mm Summicron's belonging to Xavier may present a
problem.
it's not a problem if they work...do they?
(that's the question...)
Personally I haven't had any problems with many lenses, except on
continued use...the AF confirmation unpredictably may quit...
say, maybe we need to encourage people to take photos with their
lenses, rather than of their lenses...
Steve
Don't know which versions he has.
In his photo, at http://xavierf.b.free.fr/Temp/clearance/Summlux_50.jpg
you can see the lip on the rear of his Lux. Is there a similar
lip on yours? And if not, does it clear the FC adapter, or does it
simply not extend far enough to the rear, at infinity focus, to be a
problem?
has anyone had the problem of focus confirmation working, then simply
quitting?
Nope.
Cheers!
