This is a lot! Sorry to heat that, David. In 15+ years It only
happened to me three times : an old 50mm 1,4 Yashinon broke into two
peaces (fixed by a local repair guy), a cheap Soligor 60-300mm zoom
stopped autofocusing (fixed under warranty in 3 week) and the above
mentioned F90.

And this was probably all Leica, since the work was done by Kindermann.

I hope you get your Vario soon as well.
