Jerry,

I bought my new R9, DMR, and extra battery for a tad
over $7000. Now this was the old price before Leica
raised there prices. I don't know what it would cost
today, my dealer had less invested into the equipment
then. I bought it from Tony Mansfield at Southeastern

Ansel Adams also had a Hasselblad (it was said that he
was good friends with Victor Hasselblad), in his later
years he went to lighter equipment. He didn't have a
problem with manufacturers giving him equipment. I
would think that any manufacturer would want their
equipment seen in his hands.

Do you mean to say that you got a brand new R9, lens,
(what lens?) and
a new DMR for a tad? over $7000?  Where, pray tell?  I
told where I was
quoted over $10,000 at B&H.
