[LRFlex] Sites, photo resolutions

Patrick.

The answer is not going to please you but usually, the photos we present have a low resolution, reason is:
a) some like me have a low speed connnection
b) the less space, the more photos
c) the displays have a limited resolution

So, I found out that usually 800x600 (er 600 dpi) is a good start. but YMMV.

When I scan to print, a 1200dpi is the minimum for a 3"x5" size. Again, a personnal preference.

Wait till you see the miserable pix I do befoore you agree on this....

Thanks Everyone!

I am currently working on my first website. It will be as simple as
possible. I intend on displaying a few photos and I will have to
digitize them. What resolution is best for scanning the photos? I am
of course limited in my storage space but I assume the higher the
resolution the best quality images. Does anyone recommend a resolution?
