Good Mornin' Bill!

OK. I've posted two screen shots. I've taken a reject photo, one
I've never played with, and opened it in Silkypix v2. The top shot
shows the screen, with the untouched photo. The lower shot shows the
photo, where I have cranked up the mythical, magical "black level" to
33. No other adjustments have been made.

The black level can be found under TONE in ver. 2. In ver. 3, it is
under an icon (same spot) which is a circle, vertically divided with
half black and half white. When you click on the icon, you'll get
the word "tone" underneath.

You can see the slider, at the vertical mid point, on the left.

You can see the page at: http://www3.telus.net/~telyt/BLT.htm (BTW:
BLT, is for Black Level Test, not Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato!)

I will only leave this page up for a day or so, so have a look, whilst you can!

The Catch: The slider will appear if you click on the word "TONE"
in v2, or the contrast Icon in v3. However, it will be grayed out,
and not useable in the free version. It only becomes active in the
paid version.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!
