I hear that it has a different look - but wonder if Sigma can keep up with newer technology. The SD14 is like 4 years old now??? A friend loves his DP1 for all it's faults and bought it after a sour experience with the C Lux 3. Sigma has always made "good glass" - I don't know whom builds their flash gear but it is rumored to be top-notch. --- On Fri, 4/2/10, David Young <dsy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: From: David Young <dsy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [LRflex] Re: SD14 people and skin To: leicareflex@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Friday, April 2, 2010, 8:55 AM At 01:43 AM 02/04/2010, you wrote: >I haven't used the SD14 to shoot people very often and hardly at close >quarters so I wanted to check it out. However, when used within those limits, the results are absolutely stunning! The skin tones, and rendering of texture is superb. A credit to both the sensor and the lens. Nice photo, too! :-) Thanks for showing us just what your little Sigma can do! ------------- David Young, Logan Lake, BC, CANADA Wildlife & Sports: www.furnfeather.net Personal pages: www.main.furnfeather.net A micro-lender through KIVA.org. ------ Unsubscribe or change to/from Digest Mode at: http://www.lrflex.furnfeather.net/ Archives are at: //www.freelists.org/archives/leicareflex/ ------ Unsubscribe or change to/from Digest Mode at: http://www.lrflex.furnfeather.net/ Archives are at: //www.freelists.org/archives/leicareflex/
