I am sorry that my message caused so much activity. I thought I'd go to
the web and see if anyone replied and was dismayed at the number of
messages.
Jim. I replied to you off list in thanks for your nice sentiments, but I
guess I had better reply to everyone. I in no way was complaining to
anyone on the list that I can't read the messages. It is my ISP. Since
I signed a year contract with them I am stuck until next December or
so. I can't afford to drop them and loose my money. (no refunds in the
fine print) The suggestion I get a Yahoo or hotmail account was a good
one. I do have one hotmail account and maybe I could do that. I rarely
have time to read it, however. It is so much nicer to open one program,
Outlook Express, and read all my mail and newsgroups. I just happened to
pick a looser of a local ISP.
My intent on the first post was just to compete the cycle and let
everyone who had responded to my initial camera problem know that the
whole saga had finally come to an end.
So, you can all drop the problem I am having with my ISP and get on with
Leica photography, as it should be. Thanks for the sentiments. I will
see if I have the time to make another e-mail address at hotmail
dedicated to Leica. I do miss the daily banter about Leica Reflex.
Aram
