[LRflex] Re: [RE:] Leica DMR support

Gary & All,
I've been reading all of the messages with great interest since I'm a Leica 
user. I, on the other hand only use the Leica point & shoot digitals instead of 
the DMR & R8~R9's, (I'm still gun-shy about the latest R's due to bad past 
experiences). As far as the withdrawl of support for a product like Microsoft 
does in order to force everyone to upgrade to the latest "ILL-DEVELOPED" 
Windows 
platform (which will require NUMEROUS patches to get to work as well as a two 
or three generation earlier version), maybe Leica is taking their cue from 
Mr. Gates. Hey, if it works for him..........

Lets just hope that unhappy users do not figure a way to get into a 
legitimate support website and insert a "virus" into the firmware.
