The trouble with making camera controls idiot-proof is that someone is always 
going to make a better idiot!  

Seriously, I was surprised the R8 didn't have locking controls since Leica 
supposedly leared this lesson and corrected it with the R4sP.  Another example 
of history repeating itself.
