The Cameraquest "focus coupled" lens mount adapter requires a two-step
process. Focus using the rangefinder & adapter focus ring, then
transfer the distance setting by hand to the R lens.

Important caveat, it always brings up the 50mm framelines in the camera
viewfinder.
