[LRflex] Re: R 2x APO Extender Question

I don't get this......   Why would a tele converter vignette ?  Especially when 
used on  a long lens with really perpendicular rays?

Are you sure this is not an issue of maybe a close up tube?  Wrong Hood?

Is there a logical explanation?  I have never seen this effect with all the 
teleconverters I have had over a number of years.....  (
I do not nor have I ever owned the Leica converter in question....)

3) my old SL vintage converter vignettes rather badly, with the 
400/f6.8 Telyt. ..........I tested the APO 
converter, with the 400/f6.8 and it does NOT vignette, when using 
film, so there is an obvious improvement there!
