[LRflex] Question re: scanning

Hi everyone,

It's been a few months since I last corresponded.  In that time I've had the SL 
CLA'd and have purchased a Nikon Coolscan V ED.  I'm new to this and have been 
frustrated with my scanning attempts and am hoping for suggestions..

Essentially, regardless of the crop settings I apply the scans, when uploaded 
to Adobe 4.0, come out as vertically narrow strips.  Is this a case of needing 
to upgrade to a higher version of Adobe, or is it a basic crop setting in the 
Nikon scanning program/Adobe that I'm overlooking?  Note that I've "twained" 
the two programs.  Any guidance appreciated.  Thanks, Paul
