Hi Xavier!

The trick is to throw the lens completely out of focus... say, set 
the lens at 1 meter, and then point the camera at a distant scene.

Then, using the small wheel to the left of the eyepiece, adjust the 
focus until the circle around the split image/microprism or whatever 
lines you have on your screen is/are in sharp focus.

Now try focusing the lens on your subject and take your shot.

If your photos are still not sharp at infinity, it is possible that 
your focusing screen is not properly seated.  You might then try 
removing and re-installing it.

If you're certain the screen is properly seated and the diopter 
adjustment has been adjusted to your eyes (as above) it is possible 
that the camera may need repair.
