I've commented on a few of these privately, so I'll comment here only on those 
I hadn't previously seen (saves typing fingewrs)

Stilt:  Composition abd activity are great, lighting culd use some helsp.  The 
bird's head is in shadwo while the body is in sunlight, so the white pluage on 
the bird's flank is distracting from the bird's head/eye.  The rear leg looks 
odd, is there a strange reflection going on?

Lute maker: excellent,  it's a keeper.

As others have mentioned the scanning isnt the best but these are showing real 
improvement.
