Can anyone recommend websites for the extreme amateur photographer? I am

website?

Not sure, Patrick, where you'd find basic instruction websites - the few
I've found weren't worth the bother. Lots of good books out there, though!
As for photos, don't post 'em to the group. Attachments are automagically
stripped from all email list posts, as most viruses are sent that way.
Post 'em to a website and post the URL here. Those interested will have a look.
If you don't have a website, be patient. I am told that within a few
weeks, we will have our own, dedicated, no-cost LRFLEX website where
members can post their work.
Watch this space... I'll keep you posted!
Cheers!
