Aram,
Have fun in Death Valley. The website:

Indicates there are still wildflowers to enjoy.
All the best,
Bill

Bill. Thanks for looking and yours are very nice. Looks like a well
maintained orchard. I would love to go back to the one I took, but
don’t have to go to work there now and we are getting ready for our
trek south to Death Valley. A fellow worker said it was very pretty
this morning with some frost control measures being taken. She did
not specify if it was smudge pots or water, but said she would send me
some photos later.

Aram,
I enjoyed your orchard pictures very much. I think orchards are
nature's masterpieces.
The orchards here in Saratoga, California, some 800 mile south of you,
have been in bloom for several weeks now, in generally sunny weather
in the 60s and 70s. No smudge pots in sight!
Last Saturday was such a gorgeous day that I spent a couple of hours
photographing two orchards nearby, one the Heritage Orchard, which is
owned by the City, and is preserved to remember how much of the land
around here once looked before the influx of homes and businesses in
the 1950s replaced the fruitful orchards.
The other orchard, just down the street has been in the hands of the
Novakovich family since 1925 and they produce and sell apricots and
other fruits.
The first two were made with an M8 and an Elmarit-M 2.8/24 mm, the
third with the M8 and an Elmarit-M 2.8/28mm.
I am trying to learn to use the free JAlbum software and you can see
the photos at:

Comments, etc. welcome.
All the best,
Bill

At least one orchard has started to bloom, but last night it got to
20F, so it may be in trouble today. Here are some shots taken last
