[LRflex] Re: OT gear advice needed

Well, Philippe, both sigma and tamron (18-200) have f/6.3 at the long
ends. I´m not sure about canon AF with such slow lens, but nikon is
said to have no problems with AF, even though the manuals state the
slowest lens used shuld be 5.6.

On the other hand, there is new sigma 18-125mm /f3.8-5.6 HSM OS (with
hypersonic motor and optical stabilizer), that becomes 28-200mm
considering 1.6 crop factor, but it´s fairly expensive.
