[LRflex] OT: M8 Cameras and INTENTIONAL IR Photography

Hello,
I'm wondering if any M8 users (or former users) had ever used the camera to
Intentionally Shoot images from the Infrared Specturm? ie: Slapping a filter on
the lens which ONLY lets IR Light through for Image Capture purposes. I know
it's possible and was a noted Design Decisions Problem with the M8 regarding IR
contamination of visible light imagery (Leica Fans/Haters et al know that I'm
guessing!).
My wonderings are:
a) what kind of 'effective' ISO do I get with an IR Imaging Filter in place?
ie: ISO160 operates like shooting ISO25? ISO10, or ???, without the blocking
filter in place?

 b) can you share/send a resulting image you came up with?

My Intention is to get a M8 (once my funds come through) to Explore Leica
Rangefinder Photography and to Explore IR Photography With It.
Kind of wondering if that latter goal is a matter of 'barking up the wrong
tree'
so to speak.

Thanks
Richard in Michigan
