[LRflex] New comeR

Hi!
I'm French - nobody's perfect -and I like taking pixes of anything -
simply because life is beautiful and is worth seeing.- and a proud owner
of an R3 MOT (with winder) purchased as the dream camera of my life .
I also have an R4, and a couple of lenses - 24mm (which is fantastic
within the lmits described on the site), a 70-210 vario elmar , a 2 X
extender, and a 35-70 Angénieux zoom that is simply PERFECT.
I've owned nice Spot F and ESII Pentaxes, an instant rusting 139 Contax
(electronics went down in India Grrrr!), an OM2 Olympus and a faithful
Nikkormat EL too, among others.
I still have a 6x6 Mamiya, plus various collectible items.

As I'm growing old and not the wiser, I'd like to get digital and I am
considering the purchase of the latest 350D by Canon so I found the
information on R to EOS very interesting for this is the kind of
questions I was asking myself before betraying my old beliefs and
switching back to Japan.

I'm not sure I understand your posting system very well - Are we
supposed to write mails that will be reviewed before posting?
I 'm used to other posting systems on a BMW site where I share
information with other old-timers' addicts - just let me know if i'm wrong.

Well, that's it for tonight .
Oh yes, I will be very happy to answer any questions you might have and
I enclose a snap taken two weeks ago in the Swiss Alps - I called it
Turner after the painter, guess why!

Yours
Philippe AMARD
