[LRFlex] Re: New Members:

Indeed Alex, I envy you a little.

You can compare:
Just turning 40, Embedded IT architect, rowing like a madman to find a job these days!

Photog since the age of 13, using Dad's Minolta. First Reflex, Pentax at the age of 26.

Discovered the Maison du Leica in France a student, 20 year ago and thought at that time these people were stupid to buy such "garbage"....

Rediscovered Leica, R serie that time, 7 years ago, in Dubai Airport, bought a R7. Subjects are mostly street, tourism. Just love the wide angles. Using mostly Color slides and B&W.

Traded many cameras, for fun but always kept the R7.

With David Young, administrating this List. Had the chance to meet David and Ted Grant during last summer trip to Victoria.

I'm going to annoy every one with the photos taken with a recently purchased Super Angulon 21.
Cheers.

<SNIP>

Travels a lot, and has made many firm friends in the Leica and Nikon groups. Now eagerly awaiting wife's retirement in early '05 so we can travel even more.

Best

Alex.
