Worth the price = ok+ (I bought a motor drive a couple of weeks ago and
don't regret the money).
Batteries : R4 has the same features - power through the winder/drive
and it can be operated manual too - DK about R4Mot (earlier problematic
series) and R4s (later downgraded R4 but with safer electronics?).
R3 and 4 are short on flash use. The R5 is better in that respect.
R9 is from what I know 10 to 15% lighter than R8 due to use of
different, lighter materials, which may give you a margin when adding up
a DMR.
