Hello Listers,
Being in Languedoc, I have some light and some time to play with the
Digilux.
I have discovered the following:
Which ever mode A/P/S/M, which ever the customised values for the button
AFL/AEL when the camera is in focus mode AFS or MF, depressing lighly the
shutter memorises and lock the exposure.
This is very annoying since when using a R lense, it is better to press
lightly the shutter to activate the focus confirmation and then adjust the
exposure.
However, on this camera, there is a button called AEL/AFL, customisable to
lock the exposure. No need to have the shutter to do that.
There is another anoying bug, when using a R lens of small aperture, the
display in the viewfinder dims out as it believe that the camera is in a low
light situation. When using a VarioElmar 14-50, the digilux operates OK but
when using a Tamron, at f5.6, the view finder information (speed, exposure
scale, etc) is hard to read in fll light.
Please, if you happen to have the Firmware 2.0 Lumix, could you check these
points?
I have sent the description of this to a contact of Leica France.
Any bug with the latest DMR Firmware to report?
Good Day
