David is right, many hands make light work. I have had the pleasure of
meeting Doug and can report he is as nice a man in person as he is on this
group list. We all have taken great pleasure from Doug's wonderful bird
photo's and advice and expertise on equipment. I also don't know what
misfortune has befallen Doug but I also know that for him to put up his
beloved camera equipment for sale indicates he is indeed in need of some
quick and serious cash. I have recently been in his position and I know the
heartbreak of selling off prized positions to raise money. If all of us here
just sent a bit in appreciation for Doug's work, I can assure you it will be
repaid with the fruits of Doug's labor. Haven't we all taken gotten
enjoyment from Doug's web site and the photos he has shared with us? Let's
ALL dig deep and show Doug we appreciate him and his work.
