OK, Ted.  I'll show you barrel distortion.  You'll have to forgive the=
 shot... it's not meant to be art... merely to document the conversion of a=
 closet into a pantry, for Rose.

However, the door (on the left) and the sheet of gypsum board should be=
 relatively straight.  They are not.

Yup... yet the 17~80 flares, with the sun out of the frame and with the=
 lens shade.  I remain unimpressed.
