Douglas,

I have not seen the press conference but in a guide on Indonesia, an image of Suharto during a press conference caught the attention as the photog next to him had a huge collection of Leica, SLR and RF with him.

Ted Grant is not the only one to use the German brand.

Seen at a German government press conference last night on TV, a press photographer using a Leica R9!
Couldn't see whether it was with a digital back but it stuck out like a sore thumb between all the Nikanons.

Is there still hope for the Solmser?
