For sharpness with the R8/9, try setting to Mirror
Lock Up, even hand-held, then one press of the release
for mirror release, second press for shutter release.
keep both eyes open to watch the subject with the left
eye for movement after the mirror rises. It's fun.
And it works. Quiet like a RF, too.
